Copenhagen Blinds

A patent for the Venetian blind design was taken out in 1888 by Georg Castner, which allowed for one thread to carry the weight of the slats and another set of threads to tilt the slats. This basic design has not been developed for almost 130 years…until now.

Art Anderson have created smart blinds, which they have called “Copenhagen Binds”. These blinds use smart technology to improve ease of use and security, and the slats in the new design are easy to clean due to the absence of threaded holes in the slats which makes them easy to remove.

These blinds are exclusive to Jack Brunsdon & Son in the UK, and are currently being introduced across all ten Jack Brunsdon showrooms. To find out more about Copenhagen Blinds please contact your local Jack Brunsdon & Son showroom.
